The Refinery Christian Church is partnering with local churches and social service organizations to provide transitional housing for homeless adults in the West Valley through a program called IHELP (Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program). The goal is to help get homeless people in our community off the street as they work towards becoming self-sufficient.
The Refinery is participating by providing dinner and overnight lodging two Fridays every month. This is an amazing opportunity to share God's love right here in our community to people that desperately need a hand up. There are many ways to help - if you would like to be a part, simply register online and one of our leaders will contact you to get you started.
Registration is open now to come serve in several ways:
- Welcome and check-in
- Providing meals for 10 adults
- Taking a night shift as a monitor
- Help check-out and clean up
