Refinery Groups are critical to your spiritual growth and life as a Christian. We are designed to live in community with others and develop lifelong friendships that will enable our faith to develop and flourish. Take a step of faith and join a group today!
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV
Purpose: People connecting with people
Goal: Everyone will be involved in at least one group
Rooted Groups are lead through an interactive 10-week experience. Your group will get together weekly to talk about what God has been revealing to you as you go through the week’s readings, journal entries, and prayer. You will also learn from one another as the Holy Spirit works to comfort, encourage and guide each member. For more information about Rooted Groups, contact Lindsey Harden.
Life Groups are groups for all stages of life that meet during the week at different locations. We have Tuesday night groups that meet at the church with childcare and some groups that meet outside of the church without childcare.
Launch Groups If you are new to The Refinery or you are not already attending a Rooted Group, Launch Groups are for you! These groups are designed to provide a place to meet new people and ask any questions that you might have about The Refinery. Launch Groups will meet once a month for dinner at the church or in someone's home. Contact Lindsey Harden for more information.
Refinery Student Groups: Refinery Students is not just for weekend services. Refinery Middle School Student Groups meet every weekend and High School Students will meet on during the week! We believe that God designed us for community and groups are a great way to buld community! This is a time for students to regroup and get refocused on Jesus. This is a great opportunity for students to connect with their coaches, and other students on a more personal level. We study the Bible, ask questions, build better relationships with other students and grow closer to Jesus together. It is all about doing life with each other. We have more information on groups in our Student Room.
