Interested in growing in your faith?
Joining a Rooted Group, a Life Group, getting baptized, or serving, are great places to start!

Baptism is a fundamental step in anyone's journey with Jesus Christ.

At The Refinery, we celebrate with those that are being baptized by holding special baptism services several times per year. If you have accepted Christ as your Savior and are ready to take "The Plunge," register at the Resource Center or contact Kenny Koger with any questions.  In addition to our baptism services, the baptistry is always ready for someone.  So, if you have questions or would like to be baptized anytime, please reach out to us.

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."  Acts 2:38 NIV

The Rooted experience redefines how people live their lives and view their relationships with God and others, giving context to what it means to be a part of something bigger.

You will begin to see God in new ways, allowing you to experience a different way of life: community, authenticity and generosity. Rooted is an interactive experience. In the course of 10 weeks, you will get together weekly with your group to talk about what God has been revealing to you as you go through the week’s readings, journal entries, and prayer. You will also learn from one another as the Holy Spirit works to comfort, encourage and guide each member.

Come with an open heart and mind, and see how God will surprise you!

Our next session of Rooted Groups will meet on Tuesday nights beginning August 21, 2018.

Rooted is for everyone. If you are married, we strongly encourage you to participate in Rooted Groups as a couple. In order to get the most out of Rooted, we ask that participants do not miss more than 2 sessions. Each session is unique and builds on each other, so when participants miss a week, they miss a lot! The group also suffers when participants are not there. If you know you will not be able to attend at least 8 of the weeks, we recommend participating in the following session which will start in January 2019 on Monday nights.

Refinery Groups are critical to your spiritual growth and life as a Christian. We are designed to live in community with others and develop lifelong friendships that will enable our faith to develop and flourish. Take a step of faith and join a group today!

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.  Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV

Purpose: People connecting with people

Goal: Everyone will be involved in at least one group

Rooted Groups are lead through an interactive 10-week experience. Your group will get together weekly to talk about what God has been revealing to you as you go through the week’s readings, journal entries, and prayer. You will also learn from one another as the Holy Spirit works to comfort, encourage and guide each member. For more information about Rooted Groups, contact Lindsey Harden.

Life Groups are groups for all stages of life that meet during the week at different locations. We have groups that meet at the church with childcare and some groups that meet outside of the church without childcare.

Refinery Student Groups: Refinery Students is not just for weekend services. Refinery Middle School Student Groups meet every weekend and High School Students will meet on during the week! We believe that God designed us for community and groups are a great way to buld community! This is a time for students to regroup and get refocused on Jesus. This is a great opportunity for students to connect with their coaches, and other students on a more personal level. We study the Bible, ask questions, build better relationships with other students and grow closer to Jesus together. It is all about doing life with each other. We have more information on groups in our Student Room.
