We believe in the One True God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is all powerful, all knowing and all loving. He is the creator and sustainer of the universe and He has eternally existed.
The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. Acts 17:24-25 NIV
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Messiah - our Lord and Savior and He is one with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the only person to live a perfect life, to save the world and the only way to connect to God.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17 NIV
We believe the Holy Spirit is one with God the Father and Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is alive in us, God’s Spirit teaching us how to live and God’s gift to us.
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26 NIV
We believe the Bible is the story of God and His people, the story of Jesus and His life and is the divinely inspired Word of God.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 NIV
We believe the Church is more than a building, it is more about WE than ME; it is the body of Christ and Jesus is the head.
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. Romans 12:4-5 NIV
We believe the Lord’s Supper or Communion is an ordinance initiated by Jesus to serve as a reminder of one’s identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. We observe communion every week and it is open to all Christians.
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-24 NIV
We believe Christian Baptism is the total immersion in water, of a believer who has repented of sin and confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior. Baptism is the outward expression of an inward commitment and is a way of uniting ourselves with Jesus.
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Romans 6:4 NIV
