I’m Ebonie Johnson, and I’m married to Cam. We have three adult kids, and our oldest is married and has three sons of her own, so our family is growing! We also have two pets—a cat named Kitty and a hairless guinea pig named Milton. Milton absolutely adores Kitty, and I don’t think he realizes cats are his natural predators. 😂

I grew up in Jacksonville, North Carolina, with dreams of becoming a talk show host. My husband and I started attending The Refinery in 2019, before COVID-19, and it has been such a meaningful part of our journey.

I said yes to being part of the Women’s Ministry Team because I have a heart for women connecting on a deeper level than just surface-level relationships. I want to see the women of The Refinery supporting, helping, and doing life with one another beyond our comfort zones and across all ages and ethnicities. I’d love to see us—the women—do life together without limits.

There’s always a next step: My next step of faith is to intentionally promote unity among the women at The Refinery and help create a community where every woman feels like she belongs, is supported, and has a place to connect.

I’m hoping Unshaken 2026 hits differently. My prayer is that the connections made at the conference don’t end when the weekend is over, but turn into lasting relationships that continue long after the conference itself.
