"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."  Malachi 3:10 NIV

What does it mean to Give?

We define GIVING by obeying God with your tithes and offerings to make a lasting impact on the world. There are thousands of examples of giving in the Bible, showing how giving is pivotal in your spiritual journey. There is great power to be revealed in our spiritual lives through living generously.

How Do I Honor God with my Finances?

1. Acknowledge the sovereignty of God.

But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV

2. Be aware of and avoid the subtlety of debt.

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:8 NIV

3. Choose to make tithing the centerpiece of our financial plan.

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.  Proverbs 3:9-10 NIV

But just as you excel in everything - in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and your love for us - see that you also excel in this grace of giving. 2 Corinthians 8:7 NIV

    Change for a Dollar

We are called as followers of Jesus Christ to return our firstfruits; a tithe (or a tenth) of what God has provided to us, and to give generously to the needy.

Your dollar, above and beyond your tithe or the amount that you normally give, can help to create change in the life of someone in need. Give online to the General Fund or place your offering in one of the receptacles at the back of the Worship Center.

Giving through the church - You can make Change for a Dollar.

The Refinery Christian Church is committed to giving away $1 for every person in attendance each week.

We can’t do this without you.
We want to help you help others by offering you the opportunity to nominate someone in need. You may be contacted for more information about your nominee before a selection is made. If selected, you will have the honor to arrange for, or to present the gift to be given.  Click on the "Nominate" button above to nominate someone in need.
